So last night we figured out that Brandon was not getting enough to eat and we’ll start supplementing Maggie’s breast milk with formula whenever necessary. It’s easy to tell, he’s very fussy when he’s hungry and he’s nice and calm when full so yeah if he’s crying for food every half an hour we know he’s not getting enough. This morning while holding him I could feel Brandon taking a dump and learning a lesson from yesterday I gave him a bit of time to finish. I put him on the changing table with Maggie to the side and with the diaper off, he shot a stream of dark green chunky crap between us across the room! It was totally gross but funny at the same time though I was a bit annoyed when we were cleaning, Maggie happen to wipe her cloth on my right hand.
Dark green chunky poo all over your hand is not fun lol! Anyway chalk one up for lesson learnt!

On Saturday Maggie and I went to see Jorai’s new house and I have to say it’s very nice. A semi detached bungalow, the previous owner’s decor was a bit dated but he did a ton of renovations inside and it looks pretty nice now. :) Whether he likes it or not, he better get use to gardening as he has a lot of fruit plants on his yard. I was particularly impressed with the grape vine growing on his fence, it’s at least 20′ long and full of grapes!

Sorry about the low quality picture, it was taken with my BlackBerry. Congrats Jorai, I think you’ll be very happy in your new home.
Sunday I played airsoft at Brian’s new FTF field out well, out West somewhere and man it’s certainly not a field for new airsofters. The terrain can be quite difficult to maneuver in and it’s a bit marshy for my tastes. Of course it didn’t help that it rained heavily the few days before the game but the real killer are the mosquitoes. In the bush, they’re everywhere and my god I think I have over a hundred bites on me.

I was on the NFA team (picture on the right) and even though we didn’t get to engage the JOTF squad much during the day (more of a recce day), I still had fun with the guys. Damn mosquitoes I’m all itchy and people at work are looking at me funny for scratching all over…

Today Maggie and I paid Jessie, Jason and now Logan a visit because we wanted to see the little guy. :) They told us about how the first week was a nightmare (yay that’s what I’m going to go through in about a month) and about the lack of sleep they’re getting. Why am I having a kid again?!? ;-)
Anyway it was nice to see them and here are some pics of Logan.

LOL in the second picture, Maggie is having a “test run” haha. Man I have to say, it’s amazing that a baby around that size is in Maggie right now! Well ready or not, Positron will be with us in about a month’s time.
Later we went to Ikea and picked up an inexpensive bed frame for a double mattress for one of the rooms on the second floor. Maggie’s mom is planning to come from China to give us a hand for the first 6 months and I can’t have her sleeping on a mattress on the floor that would be super ghetto haha. I don’t think I’ll put it together this weekend, Maggie has a doctors appointment tomorrow and I’m playing on Sunday but by the end of next weekend, it will be assembled.

Last night at 11:46PM, Jessie and Jason welcomed their son Logan into the world. He looks great (good thing he looks more like Jessie haha j/k!) and for Jason it’s a wonderful way to celebrate his first Father’s day.

Logan will have some company once Positron comes out. :)

On Saturday the team got together and had our annual team dinner at Phil’s restaurant. It was fun and great to see all the guys, there were a few no shows but that’s alright arranging things at this time of year can be difficult. The pictures didn’t turn out that well so nothing to show but ya it was fun good food and good friends, you can’t ask for better. :)

Maggie and I went to Sammi and Ken’s wedding yesterday and I’d just like to wish them a long and happy marriage. :) It’s not an easy ride but when you find the right person it’s definitely very fulfilling.

Saw this post on Daniel’s blog and I just had to post too.
“I like to see (the Greens) as the centrist party between the left and the right,” he said. “I think a lot of people are fed up with (what) the Liberals have been doing, and the NDP is not an option for a lot of people here.”

It’s a shame that people view the Green party as a single issue party because the rest of their platform is, as Daniel indicated very centerist. If you have some free time on your hands check out the Green Party’s BC platform. Election time is getting close, good luck buddy!

My friend Daniel is running in the current BC provincial election as a candidate for the Green party and I’d like to wish him luck. He’s a man of honour and is someone I would vote for. Our views may be different at times but I know he has the best interests of Canada and the environment in mind. Good luck buddy, I wish you the best!
If you’re in the riding of North Vancouver, make sure you go out and exercise your civic duty! If you want to vote for my friend that’s even better. ;-)

My friend Nathan (yeah that’s right ;-)) sent me pictures of his cat and oh man she’s so cute! Looks a lot like Simba just a smaller kitten version.

I might not like the materialism behind the holidays but I do enjoy spending time with friends and family. :) To you and yours, I wish you a merry xmas and/or happy holidays.
