Christmas started early for Maggie and I, Mark and Charlene came by on Saturday night to give us our gifts. Charlene got me a RC car (thank god it wasn’t an SUV lol) and Mark got me a flexible flashlight tool. Heh I was busy playing with my stuff so I wasn’t paying attention to what they got Maggie. π We gave Charlene a propane adapter however Mark’s MP5 RAS still hasn’t come in yet which is disappointing. Oh well I’ll look into that next week.
Last night we went to my parents place, nothing big it’s almost a preview of what’s to come tonight when we go over again. π My dad was telling me earlier about how Simba has changed physically after being fixed and boy was I surprised! He’s totally puffed up now with much longer hair pretty much everywhere. He’s always acted like a kitten, now he looks like a big one again. π
After getting him fixed, he’s also been more tame which is a good thing. He’ll still play you till you’re tired, man now I want a cat. π
We gave my mom and dad a salt/pepper shaker combo and my sisters each iPod Shuffles. My sisters didn’t give us anything but that’s ok, they’re studying and have no money. My parents gave Maggie and I a bit of money although I wish they didn’t. π
Heh my mom gave my dad a Playstation 3 Premium version for Christmas, isn’t that cool? We spent the night Resistance: Fall of Man (well mainly Megan and I) and it was fun. The graphics was definitely better than the previous console generation and the shooter that we played was also fun. They also rented Ridge Racer 7 however that game is pretty lousy. Caught up in the drifting fad, that’s the whole point of the game and it’s very unrealistic. Oh well it’s a good thing that my dad rented it and on not bought it… Heh with a PS3, I think I’ll visit my parents more often. π I’d love to get one but none is available anywhere and I’m not desperate enough to buy it off eBay.
Great night and I get to do it again tonight when I get to see everyone on my dad’s side of the family.
