LOW Mississauga Airsoft Field

On Saturday Mark, Charlene and I went to the private game held at the LOW airsoft field in Mississauga. It was primarily a private field that Jay and his crew played at in the past but they’re opening it up to the public now. Also attending was JR, Alan, Jason and Stephen (first field game woo), good since it evened out the numbers.

The field is basically a farm with a mixed area of forest, flat open fields and even an urban area (although we didn’t get to play there). Talking to Jay and his friends, apparently a few other teams have tried their luck at LOW only to get slaughtered by the home side, would Team GHOSTS suffer from the same fate? 😉

The first game was an attack and defend game, without knowing the terrain we set up a defensive positions the best we could. We did quite well but lost, there was only one of those guys left. The next two games were team VS team, capture the respawn point. Alan and I were able to capture it pretty easily. The next game was a prolonged fight between both sides and we were able to take them out yet again. 🙂

After lunch we played another attack and defend scenario at another field that was heavily wooded. I took the first 30 minutes off to take some pictures. After snapping up a bunch of pics I got a bit bored so I decided to get into the action. The match ended up in a draw and by that time everyone was pretty tired so we called it a day.

I had a great time and every match I got myself ~5 kills while only dying once or twice myself, a pretty good ratio if you ask me. 😉 Here are a few pictures that I took during the day. While we were waiting for the other team to get ready, Mark and Charlene decided to put on a golf clinic but unfortunately for them, I don’t think either will make it to the PGA. 🙂 Here’s a link to more pics taken that day.

I’m happy to say that the team handled the challenge well and we kicked some major ass. We really enjoyed ourselves and it’s nice to have so close to home. Look forward to playing at that field again and with Jay’s crew they’re a great bunch!
