Am I getting old or is it crazy for parents to allow a 12 year old girl go to a club and be out at 2:30AM in the morning? I’m reacting to a story in The Star about the stabbing attack on a 12 year old girl.

The girl was attacked with an unknown weapon in the area of Queen and John Sts. at around 2:30 a.m. She had met her attacker at an all-ages event at the Steam nightclub, in the Adelaide and Simcoe Sts. area of the Entertainment District.

I don’t understand why parents can’t control their kids these days. I definitely would not allow my kids out that late or to a club at that age.
