So late last week we decided to move ahead with replacing our roof and chose to use John McLellan Contracting. I guess John was a good salesman but I felt most comfortable with him, he has a good rating on HomeStars and my neighbour down the street used him to replace his roof and was very happy with it.

LOL of course I did call and ask for a break so they took ~$500 off the estimate so it’ll be $6,500 + taxes, woo to saving money. Put a 10% deposit down on Friday and now we’re in the queue to get our roof replaced, John noticed some shingles were in bad shape when he inspected the roof earlier so he’ll send some guys to seal it so there will be no further damage.

Sigh expensive but needs to be done.
