So the people have spoken and Canadians have elected a Liberal majority.  While I’m not surprised that the Liberals won, I am surprised that they pulled off such a strong majority!  What does this mean for Canada, I don’t know hopefully one that’s friendlier to the environment and more fair tax wise than the Conservatives.  With that said too the recent reelection of the Ontario provincial Liberal party has been a disaster and I’m hoping that its federal counterparts aren’t using the same playbook.

We’ll see what the future brings but I have to say it was a nice change to have a leader that didn’t use wedge politics to win.
