Woo new holster!

Earlier in the week I received my KT-Mech AKELA kydex holster for the H&K HK45CT pistol.  I absolutely love shooting the HK45CT but finding a good holster that’s compatible with a flashlight (a Streamlight TLR-3 is installed on the pistol) is a real pain in the ass which is where KT-Mech comes in.  I particularly liked the AKELA model because it’s made of one piece of kydex folded onto itself and thus a bit smaller than the regular kydex holsters.

I got it with the Blade-Tech ASR mount, it’s adjustable so I can mount it on a variety of belt sizes, right now it’s on my 10 year old cheapo 2″ airsoft belt (it’s old but works great!)  It fits the HK45CT like a glove and about the only thing I’d change if possible is to have additional mounting holes for the belt mount.  The holster only allows me to draw the gun straight up, ideally I would have liked the option to tilt the top of the holster a few degrees forward as that would allow me to have a more natural draw but meh I’ll get use to it.

I’m very pleased with this thing and can’t wait to use it at the range!  It’s very high quality and finally now I have a holster that allows me to have a flashlight on my HK45CT! 😀
