So this morning I picked up Estelle then went to see grandma and she was rather up beat which was nice.

When we went to her room, grandma was playing a word search book and seems to enjoy it so I’m going to buy a few to bring to her next time.  Estelle came along, Megan wanted to but due to a back injury was unable to make it. 🙁  It was fun, we talked for about an hour and I went through my usual routine, every time she got down I would send Brandon over to give her a hug and kiss and she’d light right back up.  I know she’ll forget our visit 5 minutes after we leave but I figure being happy must be good for her health and if I can bring her some joy with the time we have left together, why not right.

For lunch I took Estelle & Brandon to get…  what else, pho right and it was good.  Before dropping Estelle off, I detoured home to see if Maggie was back, she was so I let Brandon off first so he’s not bored in the car.  The drive to Estelle’s place was uneventful but there was an accident on the DVP so I took local roads to get back and traffic was pretty heavy. Got back home just in time to take the family to Brandon’s swimming class and he’s really getting better.

He can’t swim in a straight line but his coordination and movements are much smoother and he’s putting everything together.  With a board he does a good job at navigating but without one the coaches need to be close by.

When I got back it was “party time”, Brandon planned this from the morning but we were busy so we didn’t get to play till after swimming.  LOL I can either be the bad guy or his supporting cast but we battled the bad guys for a while then we went to the basement to watch some Pokemon & Dreamworks Dragons Race to the Edge.  In between we were playing catch and he enjoyed that which is good, I’m trying to work on his hand to eye coordination so I figure a simple game of catch would help.

Sigh I’m a bit sad, while I miss everyone at work I really got use to being lazy with 3 weeks off and am not really looking forward to it.  Oh well I didn’t win the lottery so in I go, it’s going to be a disaster with over 400 unread emails but lol that’s how it goes. 🙂
