Earlier in the week we get a notice from the school that it would be screening Shaun of the Sheep after school (3:30-5pm) on Thursday, it encouraged parents to attend but if you couldn’t, the kids could watch by themselves.  Brandon was super interested so we agreed to let him go, signed the forms and figured it was done.  Unfortunately on Wednesday I was told by the day care people that Brandon couldn’t attend because kindergarten kids were the exception and not allowed to watch the movie by themselves, even though it wasn’t on the form!

Needless to say Brandon was very upset and I couldn’t blame him so I told him we’d have our own pizza party and watch the movie ourselves after I picked him up.

So that’s exactly what we did and Brandon enjoyed the movie.  Haha there were some suspenseful moments and I loved it when he went “daddy I’m scared!”, it’s so cute.

After the movie we played around till Maggie came home and called it a night.  I’m pretty upset at the school for putting Brandon in that situation, it’s not a huge deal but they really should have put the caveat in the notice so we didn’t have to get his hopes up.
