This morning Maggie and I took Brandon to Downey’s farm in Brampton (yeah a bit of a drive but worth it) for an Easter egg hunt and the little guy had a great time. We went there last year and it was great, we didn’t have any other plans so we figure why not take him again this year. 🙂 Anyway as usual we got there first thing in the morning and while last year it was nice and sunny, this year it was cool and semi frozen.
Most of the pictures were taken by me but the wide angle shots were taken with Maggie’s phone. Hehe when Brandon was on the 4 wheeler, I did a lap in one of the bigger vehicles and would crash him into him for fun. 🙂 He also got stuck a few times so I had to push him out of the water.
The egg hunt was more organized this year and there was a lot more staff on hand to sort things out which is nice. All the kids grabbed a ton of eggs, I think there were easily 2 to 3x the number of eggs so everyone left the field happy. Before going home, Brandon wanted to get his face painted and got the bunny look. 🙂
We left just 11:30am, when we got home I dropped the family off so I could go pick up 1k of 9mm ammo from Tenda, Bray and I split an order of Sumbro 124gr FMJ ammo, frankly I would have purchased the ammo myself as it was a good price but it’s always better to split an order like this with a friend in case my guns don’t like that stuff.
I love that the ammo is loose packed and it makes it easier for me to load into the ammo boxes that I bring to the range.
Since it’s Maggie’s birthday on Monday I cooked dinner tonight and made tacos, we haven’t had it in a long and she appreciated having the night of. 🙂 It was very good, Brandon ate a lot and so much fun that I forgot to take a picture… Oh well it was really nice and even though it’s Maggie’s birthday coming up, I feel very fortunate to have such a great family. Tomorrow we’ll have some of my relatives over for a small lunch then I dunno maybe we’ll take the boy out for some fun in the afternoon.
No set plans and that’s just the way I like it. 😀
