Go Green!

Today Maggie had to work so in the morning I took Brandon to see Finding Dory. Since the movie was at 11am, I stuffed Brandon with popcorn for lunch (good thing grandma probably won’t read this) as we would be going out for an early dinner. The movie was good though I enjoyed the first one a bit more, still the boy liked it and I’m glad I took him to see it.

In the afternoon we met Maggie, Jessie, Jason & Logan at Medieval Times for dinner, they had a Father’s day special where we get some extra pictures and a cape, it was Brandon’s first time and he was so darn excited.

Jason told me while we were waiting to get into the facility that I’d better yell and cheer loudly and I think I made him proud. 😉 The guy next to me looked at us like we were crazy but meh whatever we had a good time. 😉 Of all the sections, I think it was us and red that was loudest and woo our knight won so suck it red! Jason and I cheered pretty hard though I think he was closer to losing his voice than me but we did well and it was fun!

Oh thanks to Jason for making fun of me for using the 50mm 1.8 lens instead of my more expensive 24-105 f/4L, I was trying to shoot with the former because I figure the bigger aperture would allow me to get better pictures but the thing sucks for autofocusing in low light and most of my shots were fuzzy. With the L lens, even though it’s a f/4 I got some pretty good pictures and I’m quite happy with how the shots turned out because the bright and dark spots is hard for cameras to handle let alone one with a crop sensor like with my Canon 7D.

Afterwards we went home and I tried to relax the rest of the night, I have a bit of a headache so I’m going to bed after posting this.
