So I don’t typically do two posts a day but holy this was a lot of fun.  Jupiter is the bright light just under the moon tonight and I tried taking some pics of the two celestial bodies and my god they turned out great!

The moon shot is cropped in to 100% and the camera settings on my Canon 6D MKII & Canon 70-200 F4L IS USM were ISO 100, 200mm, F4, 1/125 sec while the Jupiter one was ISO 400, 200mm, F4 0.6 sec and both were captured on my tripod.  My god you can actually make out the 4 largest moons of Jupiter, this is absolutely amazing and I wish I had more range.

The clouds have moved in so no more for today but I’ll try it again tomorrow.
