My feet are sore…

On Friday night Stephen, Jason & I went to Siege to play airsoft, there were less people but the teams were divided in a way that we were stuck with the newbs all night which definitely made things difficult.  I’m thankful that I was carrying 4 Airsoft Innovations Tornado impact grenades as well as the newer Cyclone, they were useful when the other side massed up.  Starting to get to know the regulars, most are a year into the sport and none of them like playing low light lol!  I played one game under NODs and frankly told them how to counter that advantage because we’re all here to have fun and it’s not sporting otherwise.

Saturday morning I took Brandon to Kumon then at around 12:30pm we left to go to the Eco Spirit hike.  It’s an annual scouting event held for Cubs & Beavers and the kids had a great time. 🙂

The weather was cool and thankfully the kids wore enough to stave off the cold.  It sprinkled here and there but the ground stayed firm which was good since most of the kids including B were wearing their running shoes though I did have a pair of rain boots close by in the car.  After a quick dinner we went for a night walk where the kids either watched Scouts perform skits or leaders talking about the topic of the day which was renewable energy.

We left the camp grounds around 9pm and got back just before 10 which was nice, the boy went to bed and I had a bit of time to unwind.

Today I met up with Jason around 10:45am, we went to Hero Outdoors looking for some airsoft stuff then hit up Sail where I got this…

I thought Maggie would be mad at me but surprisingly she thought it was cool.  Now I need to go to Home Depot to pick up some wood to make a backboard, I don’t want to start throwing and hitting the drywall. I watched the F1 race, too bad Mercedes had a lousy strategy or else Lewis Hamilton could have won his 5th championship oh well he’ll have to wait a week where they all race again in Mexico.  After the race, I loaded up the Toyota Prius with my winter tires dropped it off and came home.  Hopefully it’ll be done tomorrow then I’ll be ready for when there’s accumulation of the white stuff.

Relaxing now, back to work tomorrow.
