Yesterday we gathered at Estelle’s house to celebrate my 39th birthday a bit early, it’s next week but my mom will be away so yesterday it was.  I had a wonderful time, hehe little G is so sweet and frankly always steals the show but that’s alright, she’s pretty great.  I was so honoured that Estelle made lasagna from scratch and Megan baked a cake!!!

They gave me some gifts too, since we were celebrating early I decided to open gifts early ;).  Megan and Frank got me this really funny lens cup which is a copy of the Canon 24-105 F4/L lens that I have, haha it’s a pretty good copy.  Estelle got me some art supplies, no I’m not taking that stuff up but Brandon wanted some nice paint brushes and since I am very content with what I have I decided to get the boy some fun stuff.

Today I went to the range, it’s been a while but I still shot well.  There was a remembrance day service around 11am and that was nice, many shooters are ex military so it definitely means more to them than me a civilian.  I got home around 2, Maggie & Brandon were out so I took the opportunity to do some cleaning and we pretty much relaxed the rest of the day.
