Today Brandon, Estelle & Georgia went to Rouge Valley Park to put up some Christmas ornaments and it was absolutely wonderful!  I picked up the girls around 9:30am then head to the park, I wanted to go early so the that the air temperature was not that cold and the ground was still frozen.  Since it was Sunday there were quite a few joggers, dog walkers & families walking the trails and you know it’s something that I really enjoy doing, I’m glad Brandon likes it as well and it was obvious that Georgia had a blast.

Early on it was clear the kids enjoyed stomping on all the ice from overnight and took us at least a good 30 minutes to walk a couple of hundred meters.  Brandon’s face when he saw the tree was pretty awesome and I loved how he informed everyone that the tree was in sight, to him xmas is still special. 🙂

After we placed the ornaments, the kids wanted to go a bit further so we walked further into the forest and poor Estelle, Georgia wanted to be carried a lot.  She ain’t my kid so I wasn’t going to volunteer, Brandon did his part to make sure she was safe too while all I did was take pictures.  Estelle & the kids had a lot of fun, we left after about an hour and a half then I dropped them off and returned home.  We didn’t do much the rest of the day, Brandon has school tomorrow and Maggie has work but hey I like being lazy.

Took a few pictures of Slinky being cute, hehe this cat even in the winter loves to sleep on his back to expose his belly, it’s so damn cute!
