Class 3 kill storm

It continued to snow overnight into the wee hours of the morning and we ended up with a one day total of 35cm which is a record for this day.  I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again, thank god I have a snowblower!  If I had to shovel everything manually I probably would have had a heart attack…

Our Sno-tek 20 is a small snow blower but it’s a dual stage so it’ll break through the ice and it’s an absolute life saver as the snow at the end of my driveway was all compacted and hard.  In the 3rd picture I put my glove on the snowbank so there’s a size reference, for lunch Maggie and I went out to grab some won ton noodles, the main roads were just fine but many of the residential streets weren’t plowed yet.  I’ll also never understand why people who live in Canada choose to drive around in all season tires…  The mini van stuck in the first picture (overnight and took them an hour to dig out this morning) and the other cars that couldn’t get up the slight incline on my street were all equipped with all seasons.  Winters really do make a big difference when driving in the slush and cold, totally worth the money.

Anyway I thought the Toyota Prius looked cool all dirty from the short drive at lunch and hmm my ADT lawn security sign is not tall enough. 😉
