I believe I caught a cold from Jason at work, I always tell my staff that if they’re sick to either work from home or rest because I catch everything, well on Tuesday he told me he was “90%” which is great…  Anyway I got it and was pretty sick on Thursday and got better on Friday.  I’m still a bit under the weather but it’s not as bad as earlier in the week so I’m hoping to be fully recovered for Monday.

Since I was at home, I took a lot of pictures of Slinky and it’s nice that he spent a lot of time around me while I was ill.

Hehe he’s so damn fluffy and cute, I absolutely love cats and they are very charismatic animals.

For fun I also took a picture of all my full frame Canon lenses. 🙂  Starting from the left it’s actually not a lens but the Canon EF 2x Extender II, the Canon EF 70-200 F2.8 IS II USM, Canon EF 24-150 F4L IS USM, in the front a Canon EF 50mm F1.8 STM & lastly my new wide angle Canon EF 17-40 F4L USM.  I wouldn’t mind a bit more range, with the 2x Extender on the 70-200 IS II, it essentially turns into a 140-400 F5.6 which is still pretty good when it’s bright out but I’d like to be able to reach farther if possible.  Something to think about later, I’m pretty darn happy with what I have now.

I do also have a Canon EF-S 18-55 IS 4/5.6 STM & 55-250 IS 4/5.6 STM lens but those are for the Rebel SL2 camera so I didn’t include it in the above.

Hoping I can get some good shots tomorrow, have another Beavers event  and the weather should be pretty good. 🙂
