So today the Toronto district school board cancelled all schools, the weather was poor so Maggie and I both worked from home.  It’s nice that our jobs are flexible enough that we have that option, frankly I didn’t think it was as bad as last week but I guess it was the ice pellets that had them worried.

Anyway we stayed at home all day, I went out in the afternoon to clear the snow and man the stuff on the ground is not the light fluffy snow that kids like to play in, it’s the back breaking heavy damp snow.  Thank god I have a snowblower, if I had shovel I might have had a heart attack.

It doesn’t seem too slippery but while I was clearing my driveway I saw 3 vehicles that blew through the stop sign without stopping and that really pissed me off.  Sure no one is out but still not cool man, especially in a school zone.

Sigh I am about to gear up to clear my driveway again, hoping I can go to work tomorrow morning without having to fire up the blower again.
