By the water

Today I was off, with Maggie at work & Brandon at school I needed something to do so I went to down for a walk at Woodbine beach and it was a lot of fun!  Of course I brought the camera along and snapped these pictures.

It was kind of sad to see the note written to a loved one who passed away, I couldn’t make it all out but it was written by a child and there was another wreath with a RIP too.  I guess they liked the beach and thought that was a nice way to honour their memory.  I liked the ice build up photos, even though it was around 3c, the ice was caked on hard!  After a couple of hours I went home, lounged around the house then picked up Brandon from day care and when Maggie came home we went out for dinner.

The largest super moon of the year is on Monday but it means that it’s pretty darn big right now too so I took this picture a moment ago.

Wonderful that was with the Canon 6D MK II, 70-200 F2.8 IS II w/ 2x extender @ 400mm, F8, 1/125 sec & ISO 100. Man I really wish I had more range but the lenses that can reach farther and compatible with my extender are big bucks, which I’m not willing to spend.  Oh well I think I’m doing pretty well with what I got and had a ton of fun. 🙂
