So yesterday Jody Wilson-Raybould testified that she experienced interference from the Prime Minister, his office and the Finance minister’s office in the ongoing SNC-Lavalin investigation and her testimony was devastating. She was very credible and I think this will sink the Liberal’s chances of holding onto power.

The SNC-Lavalin scandal raises serious legal concerns that border on a “constitutional crisis,” lawyers say, after former attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould’s shocking testimony Wednesday.

It’s clear Wilson-Raybould was removed from her position as justice minister for “doing her job,” said Mary-Ellen Turpel-Lafond, a former Saskatchewan provincial court judge who currently teaches and practises law.

The PM should have known there was no way a lid could be kept over this especially with his former AG not playing ball, he and the government should have released a statement saying that yes they did interfere for the good of Canadians and to save tens of thousands of jobs.  It would be a shit excuse but at least the average person could relate to that, now if he says that it’ll ring hollow.  The crime in this case is severe but the cover up has been much worse especially since they’ve been bungling it from the beginning.

My liberal friends are always shocked to hear I dislike Mr. Trudeau, I mean why bother vote Liberal if they’re going to rule like Conservatives anyway.  Don’t believe me, just look at their economic, energy and environmental policy, it could have been taken straight out of the Conservative playbook.  The Liberals are only “left” on social issues and frankly that’s not good enough.  At least with the latter I’ll get to enjoy my guns in relative peace…

Sigh what a terrible time to be Canadian, the 3 major parties all suck and we’re stuck in October with voting for who sucks less.
