Today we had a big dim sum lunch to celebrate Megan and Frank having a girl and it was wonderful  Hehe Georgia was cute, Brandon was good and I can’t wait for the new baby to join us.  Uh for some reason I forgot to take a picture of the food but we ordered a lot and everyone was stuffed!  After lunch Estelle and G came over, the kids went to toboggan and just play in the snow.

I enjoyed watching Brandon and Maggie wrestle in the snow, he really enjoys that so I think I’ll enroll him in either wrestling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Georgia can be pretty silly and I just love her little baby voice, it’s the sweetest thing!

I also just came back from buying a toy, I picked up a used Canon EF 100mm F2.8L IS USM macro lens.

This lens will allow me to shoot 1:1 and I’m really looking forward to exploring the world of macro photography now no bug will be save haha…  I took these two pictures quickly, yes it’s not very good but gives you an idea at the magnification capable.

The picture on the left is to give you an idea at scale and on the right look at the closer eye, wow you can see the threads!  This macro lens is definitely much better than those extension tubes and I can’t wait to play with this thing further!
