Today I went for a photography walk with Mario down town and it was absolutely great.  We walked around the downtown core to St. Lawrence Market, Nathan Phillips Square, Chinatown back down to Lakeshore where my car was parked and well I think the photos show that it was fun.

For most of the photos I used my new Canon 16-35 F4L IS wide angle lens, 16mm is definitely wide and the image quality is superb especially compared to the 17-40 F4L I had previously.  I did carry the 70-200 F2.8 IS II with me but didn’t use it much and none of the photos I took with them turned out to be any good but man walking around the city with a wide angle is fun!  Mario’s got a better eye for this stuff than I do, I’m not very artistic but I guess at least I’m trying. 🙂

Got to do this again soon, it’s just so much fun to snap random photos and explore the surroundings.
