Today was a steamer!

Before I get to today, I wanted to share a couple of photos that I took yesterday at lunch as I think they turned out pretty well.

To be fair I was copying Mike with the first photo but I think it turned out pretty well.  With the Jesus statue, I had to crouch on the ground and I’m annoyed that I cut off the sandal, I’ll have to do it again in the future.

So when Maggie took Brandon to badminton class, I went for a long 8km walk and I always walk by this makeshift shrine for a lady who died crossing the street and I guess it was recently her birthday and that just makes things sadder.

While yes jaywalking is illegal, perhaps the TTC shouldn’t have put a stop there.  In order to access it from the North side, you’d have to walk uphill about 100 meters which doesn’t make sense since the closest street can access another stop downhill in the same distance.  It’s really designed for people on the South side of Sheppard, it’s like inviting people to try and dash across a very busy street.  Anyway the more I think about it, the more perhaps the TTC should remove that stop.

Since today was a bit of a scorcher, after swimming we decided to bring Brandon to the beach perhaps for the last time of the year.

I guess since we were by the water it was slightly cooler but that didn’t stop Brandon from having a lot of fun.  Sigh to be a kid again, it’s great he can be entertained by the smallest things, Brandon is a happy kid.  After the beach we went for some Korean food then came home.  A pretty busy day, tomorrow will also be busy but I’ll blog about it then.
