So the big surprise last night was the resurgence of the Bloc Quebecois in Quebec and that alone probably kept the Liberals to a minority government.  With that said the Libs won the most seats at 157 which while in a minority is a pretty strong minority and the NDP will be holding the balance of power which means nothing much will be done in the next couple of years lol.  We’ll see what the future brings but typically minority governments are not that productive and end quickly, I have a feeling there will be a lot more fluff than usual before the next federal election…

On an interesting note, Trudeau not moving to proportional representation saved his party because the Conservatives won the popular vote.
