Today I picked up a Canon EF 24mm F1.4L II lens and it’s pretty damn neat!  I’m lazy and prefer my zoom lenses but man F1.4 is really damn fast and in the mid day overcast sky at the largest F stop the camera was still over exposed even with a 1/8000 shutter and ISO at 100!  Too bad this thing is suppose to have poor edges as it’s fast and would be perfect for astrophotography.

Came with two 77mm filters and I only paid $650, new this thing retails for $2,000 so I’m pretty happy right now.  We’ll see if I keep it though I have a feeling I’ll flip it later but it’s still fun to play with.
