This weekend was filled with family adventures and it all started Saturday when I took Brandon biking.  We’ve been to the Tommy Thompson park many times (I actually wanted to cycle on the beach but the roads were closed), since it’s so large there are many trials one can take so we took one of the smaller ones and had a bit of an adventure.

In the 3rd picture if you take a look off in the distance you can see a lighthouse, that’s usually the route we would take but this one was fun too.  In the afternoon we just hung around the house, I love nothing more than to be lazy haha.

Today we went to a part of the Bruce trail that I’ve never been on and had a short 2 hour hike.

We drove almost all the way to the Lewiston border crossing so it was far but meh it was still fun.  Pretty scenic and we even saw wild turkeys roaming around!  In the afternoon Brandon went next door to play, since we’re allowed to expand our social circle I talked to my neighbor and like us they’ve haven’t really done anything so we agreed to let the kids play which is good.  Brandon must be really tired of interacting with Maggie and I for the last 3 months so this I’m sure was a refreshing change!

I was thinking of doing some yard work but meh I’m not feeling it so I’ll do it sometime during the week next week instead.
