I don’t think I’ve ranted about Earth day for a while but lol get ready… Yes I hate Earth day (and Earth hour), it’s 2021 and if you do not understand the science behind climate change, you’re either woefully ignorant or worse a science denier.   Raising awareness of climate change is was noble 20 years ago, now not so much and by doing “something” today whether it’s picking up garbage or using less electronics, it gives people the false sense that they’ve accomplished something.

We need real sustained government action on climate change and should not accept flowery language from our leaders.  Haha being a Canadian, our PM is a master there at saying the right things and doing the exact opposite…  I have 0 faith in anything the Liberal party says, they’re simply liars.

Everyone needs to do their part yes but we need much more then that, we need the government to properly regulate industry because they’re by far the largest emitter of greenhouse gases.  Unfortunately I don’t see that happening anytime soon, Western democracies only look at what works in the near future and all I expect are platitudes.

Humanity is pretty fucked.
