So Maggie and I got our booster shots 2 days ago and surprisingly I didn’t get sick.  Maggie and I were very sleepy Monday night but that’s it I’ve been perfectly fine which is great.  Last night Maggie had a bit of chest pain and her face was red, we weren’t sure if it was related so I got her to call Telehealth Ontario to talk to a nurse.  She said it didn’t sound like it was related and Maggie is ok this morning so I guess that’s all that matters.

I saw this news report last night and everyone is going to get COVID19 at one point or another.

Governments around the world (especially ours) need to get beyond a COVID 0 strategy, this disease is here to stay and we need to learn to live with it.  Invest further in health care, increasing capability when needed during the waves because this constant locking down of the populace does nothing but hurt those less fortunate.  I mean as a white collar worker with a large investment portfolio, it’s been great for me but not everyone is as fortunate and we need to figure out how to deal with the realities on the ground.
