Maggie and I voted in advanced polling yesterday so we’ve done our civic duty.  Unfortunately it looks like Mark Carney & the Liberals may have scared Canadians enough to forget the last shitty 10 years but hey Trump bad right.  Someone on Reddit shared this article yesterday and I had to laugh, it was talking about Canada’s soaring middle class and the piece is dated April 23 2014.  How things have changed, no way would people talk like that about any of the last 10 years of Liberal rule…

Too bad Pierre Poilievre & the Conservatives ran such a lousy campaign.  Yes the stuff they’re talking about is very important and highlights Liberal failures but they didn’t read the room and when people (mainly boomers, who are scared of everything) wanted a different message, they didn’t shift fast enough.  The softer Poilievre we saw at the debate was pretty good but he should have done that back in January.

Voting day is on April 28th so we’ll see what we get.
