Shame on Canada and its governments. While I like to rant about the Conservatives (which I’ll get to a bit later), the Liberals did done virtually nil while they were in power and mainly large to them, Canada is ranked in 51 out of 56 countries that signed a climate treaty back in 1992.

With the current Conservative government reneging on Kyoto, Canada has become the laughing stock of the world in terms of climate change. Of course it doesn’t help that the current environment minister Rona Ambrose keeps saying things like this…

Seriously WTF is that suppose to mean?!? She keeps saying this whenever at a public event, I even heard her say the same thing last Sunday on CTV’s Question Period.

Why can’t people see that moving towards green energy now is easier than being forced when it’s too late? I guess we’ll worry about it when oil runs out completely… Countries like Sweden (#1), UK (#2), Denmark (#3), Brazil (#8) and even India (#9) are taking the right steps, why can’t Canada?
