One of the many things that drive me crazy are distracted drivers. In Ontario it is illegal for people to use hand held devices (cell phones, iPods, etc) but you see people checking their iPhones or BlackBerrys all the time (sometimes I wish I were a cop so I could give them a ticket) and sometimes it’s very obvious that they are not paying attention to the road. Anyway ironically this guy uses his iPhone to film a person allegedly texting and driving at the same time and witnesses a crash.

Horrifying cellphone footage captured by a motorist shows why it’s important to always be fully alert of other drivers on the road.

In the YouTube video, uploaded over the weekend, a driver is filmed swerving in and out of highway traffic before barrelling head-on into oncoming cars.

Nobody was injured in the accident, but two cars sustained damage and the offending vehicle veered off the roadway into a grassy area.
