Last long weekend of 2011

Did you enjoy the beautiful weather we received here in Toronto for our last long weekend of the year?

My weekend went well, thank you for asking and Friday night Stephen came by to drop off a Real Sword Type 56-1 AEG, some mags and a couple of batteries. I purchased it off him as he decided AKs were not his thing and I was to sell the CA CQBR to Henry the same day (he needed an AEG pretty badly, wanted what I got but couldn’t get one himself). Hehe while Stephen was here, for some reason Brandon was really scared of him. At one point Brandon was walking towards me (I’m sitting next to Stephen on the sofa) and then the little guy stops, looks at Stephen and starts to cry! It was the funniest thing I tell you. Afterwards we went to TTAC3 so I could drop off the CA CQBR to Henry and chat with the guys.

Saturday my mom, Maggie, Brandon and I went to Buffalo to do a bit of shopping and to my surprise Brandon was only fussy for a total of about 30 minutes! That’s not bad considering he was sitting in the car for about 4 hours. I’d definitely consider bringing him next time we do a cross border run.

Yesterday and today Maggie was wrapping some things up for Elections Ontario so it was just me and the boy most of the time and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The weather as you know was great so we went for quite a few walks and also multiple times to the park so he could play and man that kid loves to play… He’s such a good boy and man I’m so lucky to have him.

Last night Jason also popped by to show me his new Systema M16A3 PTW MAX and it was damn nice! I thought it felt quite comfortable to shoulder even though it has a full stock (I like my rifles up nice and tight) and now I want to get one as well… Ugh we’ll see I guess, I’m considering selling one of my current PTWs to get a M16.

Back to work tomorrow and this work week will be “interesting”. 😉 Will elaborate on that later… hopefully.

On to some more sad news, my mom informed me earlier that they will be removing Aunt Jenny’s feed/water tube tomorrow (I think it was tomorrow) so she’ll be passing very soon. I did not know her well but she was always good to me.
