On the weekend I broke my company Blackberry Curve 9360, I use it as an alarm knocked it off the night stand next to my bed accidentally, it’s something that I’ve done a few times in the past as well without any problems. Anyway I guess this time I was “lucky” because the screen broke and only the right 20% of the display worked.

I was worried I’d have to cover the cost of the unit but luckily the IT department had a few Blackberry devices floating around and I got an older Blackberry Curve 9300 as a replacement. It’s definitely not as nice as my original unit, the display is not as sharp (it’s even not as nice as my old personal BB Bold 9000) and the camera sucks but I guess I shouldn’t complain since it’s free and I don’t have to pay for the service.

My previous unit’s camera was pretty good but with this one, I’ll have to carry my P&S again. Ahh well that’s how it goes, I’m eligible for an upgrade at the end of October at least. 🙂
