So yesterday I picked up Jason and we headed over to Ultimate Airsoft for its official grand opening and boy was it busy! You have to use field BBs at UA now but the prices of its BBs are very reasonable, $10 for 1000 rds of red coloured BB Bastards in 0.2g, though if you buy 10 bags it’s only $8.50 so Jason and I split 10 bags. Most of the games were very simple skirmishes so nothing to speak of there too much, I was testing Mikey’s PTW lower with my upper and his gun performed flawlessly so I’m happy with that.
LOL I think the highlight of my day was when I kicked this large wooden door in, someone was bracing it with their body on the other side (which is against the rules) and held that position even after I told them it was not allowed so I gave the door two hard kicks and entered to clear the room. 😉 I took a lot of video and there are some pretty cool shots but I’ll have to upload it later because since I have nothing planned, I’m going back to UA at noon this time with Mario. Hey I love airsoft right…
Jason and I wrapped things up at 4:30PM, I had to leave early because I had to go and celebrate my grandmother’s 92nd birthday. She’s a very sweet lady, it’s always nice to see her and she absolutely adores Brandon. 🙂 I am sad though because her mental and physical decline in the last couple of years has been very dramatic, she was a very independent senior up until her late 80s but something seems to have changed in the last couple of years… Sigh all we can do is enjoy the time we have together and I always try to let grandma play with Brandon as much as she can.
Dinner was at this Chinese restaurant at Market Village and god I absolutely hate that place, too many Chinese people! The food was rather bland but whatever I didn’t choose things and it was fun to see all the family.
Today, more airsoft is scheduled and after that who knows. 😀
