Maggie sent me a couple of text messages after she crossed the border last night and she was slightly ahead of schedule in terms of her return. I told her to give me a call when she’s close to Pacific Mall so I can go and pick her up, when she did I told Brandon we’d go pick up mommy and you could see the joy in his face. 🙂 He first said “mommy?” then screamed “MOMMY!”, ran to the door and sat down waiting for me to put his socks, shoes and jacket on.

When Maggie and her mom got into the car, Brandon looked a bit mad, perhaps he was upset Maggie left for so long but by the time we got home he was his happy self again. I enjoyed the free time but am definitely glad that I have my family back.
