I’m not ready to post about the mil sim event I played over the weekend, Chris is editing a video of the footage he got from the game and will be posting something on Youtube soon so I’ll post my thoughts (which are good) when that’s available.

On Friday when I came home, Brandon immediately ran to me and gave me something he made at day care for father’s day and said “Happy Fathers day” which was so sweet. He knows I like hugs and gave me a big one which was awesome, I definitely feel very special. 🙂

After dinner we took him to the park and we saw a few kids from his day care there and I rather enjoyed watching him play with the other kids. He would point them out to us, tell us their name and say “my friend”, awesome. Just after over an hour playing we decided to head back because it was getting cool and both Maggie and I were tired so I picked up B and he immediately burst into tears. He knew that when I picked him up it meant that we were going home and he wanted to stay and play with his friends. It was pretty sad and I definitely felt bad but lol we had to go home, at least he got a lot of energy out and Maggie put him to bed with ease.

Saturday I went to play airsoft and it was great but I’ll post more about that later.

Sunday I came home around 12:30PM and even though the last time I had any real sleep was 30 hours ago, I didn’t feel that tired so I cleaned up my gear and did a load of laundry. Played with B in the afternoon (though I was pretty darn sore) and took a quick nap between 4 and 6PM. Ended the night in a very relaxing manner and man weekends like this make me feel like a million bucks. If you can’t tell Colin is happy. 🙂
