So yesterday Toronto was hit with heavy rains which flooded certain portions of the city and totally wrecked the night for thousands of people as public transit train service effective broke down due to the water.

While I got soaked going to the subway station, I consider myself lucky that my train didn’t get stuck or that service was disrupted on my way home. In fact as I was pulling into Eglinton station, there was an announcement of just that. Service would not be available for certain stations and such, haha I was counting my lucky stars.

We had power when I got home but there was an outage after ~6:30PM which continued till around 12AM. It didn’t bother us much, we had tons of flashlights and Brandon seemed to enjoy playing in the dark. 🙂 Hehe after he went to bed, I played with my PVS-14 a bit and it was fun to see the flicker of candles in other people’s houses.
