As I’ve mentioned before I absolutely love lazy weekends because, well I’m lazy. Brandon had a bit of a cold and cough on Friday night so Saturday morning I didn’t take him to the park as usual, we just stayed in the house and played. The toy he likes to play with right now is this Dora the Explorer puzzle and every few hours he wants to put it together.

In the late afternoon Frank, Teresa, their 2 month old daughters Candice & Isabella and Frank’s mom came over for dinner. It was fun and it felt pretty nice to hold an infant again, that and they smelled really nice too. Haha I love the baby smell, Brandon smells like sweat because he’s so active but these kids can’t move yet so they smelt quite nice. They left at around 8, both babies were tired and crying and lol I certainly did not miss that…

Earlier in the week I was at Dollarama and picked up a Cars kite, it was a spur of the moment thing and I figured why not. Well this morning we took it for a test run and while the kite was garbage, everyone had a lot of fun. 🙂

After Brandon’s afternoon nap, we were playing a bit in the backyard with the water guns and hehe I used Maggie as a shield to block Brandon’s blasts. 😉 My mother in law is growing a lot of vegetables in the backyard and man they’re starting to look very good.

I don’t care much for eggplant but the tomatoes and Chinese hot peppers look great. Sigh I have no idea how it’ll turn out when she leaves sometime next month, neither Maggie or I are good at taking care of plants haha…

Sigh work next week but at least it’s short for me.
