Today I spent a ton of time with the family and it was so great, I definitely feel lucky to have such a great life! In the morning we went to Canadian Tire to pick up a few odds and ends for the home, then to Ikea. Maggie wants to buy Brandon a new bed frame and while we found something we liked, I simply didn’t have enough space in the car to move it so we just noted it down and I’ll go pick it up tomorrow. My mom is coming to look after B so with the child seat removed, I should be good.

Hehe on the way out, we bought some ice cream one for Brandon and one for myself (Maggie didn’t want one) and while we were waiting for her to buy some Ikea meatballs, Brandon drops his ice cream cone on the floor! Haha it was pretty cute I hear him say “uh oh!” and when I turn to face him, I see him looking down at the ice cream then look up at me with the biggest frown so I immediately gave him my cone so he didn’t cry. I wish I caught it on camera because it was pretty freaking cute.

We also bought an easel for Brandon to play on and he enjoyed it. 🙂

In the afternoon Brandon wanted to ride his bike so we took a stroll to the local Tim Hortons… What sucked was on the way back he preferred to walk so I carried his bike home and while it’s small it’s pretty heavy! Good thing Maggie was there to make sure he didn’t run onto the street, oh well that’s life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. 🙂
