So the first weekend of December, I will be going to get my PAL/RPAL with Brian T and I’m already planning my gun purchases. 🙂 A few people have told me to go with a shotgun for a first gun and I think I’ve found the one for me. I’ve always loved the look of the Mossberg M590A1 and I think I’m going to go with the 18.5″ barrel model. The magazine only holds 5 shells but it’s smaller and easier to manoeuvre with though to be frank that’s probably not a big deal as I’m not going into combat with it lol.

Graham likes the Remington 870s and I know Laura has one of those too but I have my heart set on the Mossberg. It is a bit more than I wanted to spend but whatever, I’m getting exactly what I want. 🙂

Down the road I’m also looking at getting a gen 3/4 Glock 17 ($650+ depending on accessories), a 1911 (though I’m not sure if I want something like a Kimber $1000+ or a cheap Norinco $250+) and finally an AR of some sort ($600+ for a Norinco, $1700 for a nice Daniel Defense MK18). Sigh whatever 2014 will be a fun albeit expensive year…
