With only a few hours left on the labour day weekend, the “official” end of summer is at hand. I’ve certainly enjoyed myself this summer and this was a nice way to end things off. On Friday Mark, Charlene and I went to see the new remake of the movie Halloween and well it sucked. There were so many times that I was rooting for Michael to kill those spoiled teenagers, I guess it’s typical but everyone in these type of flicks are just so stupid.

After the movie we went back to my place and err Mark and Charlene made themselves right at home. 😉 Geez at 6’4” I figure he could have taken her a bit more easily.

On Saturday after talking to Maggie in the morning (which really sucks!), I loafed around the condo doing absolutely nothing. 😀 That night, I hooked up with Mark, Charlene, Steve and his gf Karen for dinner and that was fun. There were a few videogames at the pub we went to and err let’s say the ‘redneck’ genes in them are much stronger than in me. 😉

The Big Buck Hunter game is absolutely terrible but it was fun to play.

On Sunday Stephen invited me to watch War with him and Helene but previously I had made arrangements with Charlene. Heh I feel loved, my friends know that I’m a bit lonely so they all want to take me out. 🙂 Anyway Charlene and I went to Buffalo and traffic was absolutely terrible. Going there and coming back, we were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic most of the time. No big deal though, I had nothing to do and the trip was fun.

Talking to Maggie on Sunday night, there’s a possibility she may be able to come home sooner if she can get a “Travel Document” from the Canadian consulate in Shanghai quickly. If she doesn’t on Tuesday, the next available flight out of China will be on Sept 13th. Well my fingers are crossed, I should know soon…

Today I cleaned up the condo as it was quite messy and did the laundry. Not as much fun as the previous few days but relaxing and that’s exactly what I wanted. 🙂 Yay short work week coming up, I love long weekends!
