Today marks the 50th anniversary of Sputnik 1 and the dawn of Earthly space programs. I wonder if Sergei Korolev would be proud of what he started, in any case this is certainly a big milestone for science. What will the next 50 years bring, colonization of the moon and Mars? It’s certainly an exciting proposition. 😀
