Man I don’t know why but this weekend I am very tired… It all started Saturday morning, one of Brandon’s day care friends is now playing soccer too so we pick Janessa and her mom up before we go and class is at 9:15AM. Hehe it’s so cute to watch the little kids play, there are a couple of older kids at the class who are a bit aggressive, oh well as long as no one gets hurt that’s all that matters right.

To be fair Brandon isn’t very good at soccer (yet hopefully) but he’s enthusiastic and all I care is that he tries. Janessa is athletic and absolutely loved playing soccer which I think made Brandon step up his game a bit lol. After class they came over to our house for a bit then we all went out to grab some pho for lunch and it’s fun to listen to the kids interact. 🙂

Hehe those two are so freaking cute I love it.

After lunch we dropped Chantel & Janessa off then went home to rest for a bit. Initially I was going to take a nap but decided to stay up so I could play with Brandon. Left the house in the early afternoon so Brandon could go swimming and again here he’s not very good but he’s progressing. It’s a shame I can’t take pictures but I understand the privacy rules so all I can do is tell you how cute it is to watch him in the water.

Between swimming and skating time, there’s a bit of a break so I took Brandon downstairs so Maggie could take a nap. Brandon doesn’t know how to skate but he is learning how to “walk” on the ice and how to get up properly after falling down.

There have been a lot of instructors with the kid beginner class so Brandon got a lot of personal time which was nice.

With a full day’s worth of activities, Brandon was tired and went to bed pretty easily. Both Maggie and I were tired as well so we didn’t stay up late.

Today an old friend came to visit and it’s been years since we’ve seen Charlene. 🙂 She’s doing well and looks great, I think she lost a bit of weight anyway it was a lot of fun for Maggie and I to catch up with her. She’s very easy going and I was happy she put up with Brandon being difficult at times and using her as a jungle gym lol. After lunch we played a bit of chutes and ladders and lol I poked fun at Brandon losing the first game, needless to say he didn’t like it and cried.

Hehe Brandon is a sore loser but lol he’s still young. Charlene stayed till just past 2 then had to leave as she had other plans. It was really nice to see her and we’re looking forward to having her over more often.

The rest of the day, we did various things around the house and relaxed. It’s only 7:20PM right now and I’m already tired, lol I guess that means I’m getting old!
