I love John Oliver and this video came out earlier, I wanted to blog about it but forgot till I saw it just now. Anyway John Oliver is talking about climate change and how ridiculous it is for the media to give climate change deniers equal time when talking about the topic because the overwhelming scientific evidence says climate change is real, man made and that we need to do something about it.

Frankly who cares what the general public thinks, science and scientific policy shouldn’t work on popular opinion but rather the facts of the matter. I mean we don’t give the flat earth society equal time when discussing matters related to the planet, ugh it’s so frustrating!!!

On a side note, very exciting news today as the ESA is going to try to land the Philae lander on a comet!!! I’m watching the live feed on The Guardian, even if it fails it’s a momentous day for humanity and whatever happens we will learn so much.
