LOL for Maggie and I, Saturday’s are now known as Brandon’s day since he has activities all day long. Not sure if he just wasn’t in the mood for sports today or what but he didn’t really try when he played soccer, went swimming then skating… I guess that’s just how it goes with someone his age, sometimes they’re into it and sometimes they’re not. We went out as a family for lunch and dinner since Maggie didn’t want to cook haha not that I blame her.
As I was having dinner and looked at my family I figure this is probably the best moment in my life… We’re doing well, my son is still full of mystery wonder and potential and Maggie and I are still young enough that we can do whatever the heck we want. 🙂
Well done gentlemen!
I read this article and definitely had to post it on my blog.
The staff at the Valley Springs Manor left when they stopped getting paid — except for cook Maurice Rowland and Miguel Alvarez, the janitor.
“There was about 16 residents left behind, and we had a conversation in the kitchen, ‘What are we going to do?’ ” Rowland says.

I wish there were more men like this in the world, then it would truly be a better place… It’s these men that we should strive to emulate, they did what was right while everyone else just left. Restores your faith in humanity a bit doesn’t it.
