So there’s a terrorist attack in Paris and of course it’s our friendly neighbourhood islamists and really, the western world really needs to stand up and protect our cherished freedom, in this case freedom of speech and freedom of the press.  This time they’re pissed off at Charlie Hebdo, a weekly satirical magazine because it posted pictures of Mohammed many times in the past (they make fun of everyone) and I guess the terrorists had their panties in a bunch.

Hooded gunmen stormed the Paris offices of a weekly satirical magazine known for lampooning Islam and other religions, shooting dead at least 12 people, including two police officers, in the worst militant attack on French soil in decades.

One of the assailants was captured on video outside the building shouting “Allahu Akbar!” (God is Greatest) as shots rang out. Another walked over to a police officer lying wounded on the street and shot him point-blank with an assault rifle, before the two calmly climbed into a black car and drove off.

Of the big three Abrahamic religions I definitely dislike Islam the most as it’s the most violent. Yeah I know I’ll hear the usual line of the extremists don’t represent the whole religion but when moderates are mum and let the extremists do the talking, who the hell are we suppose to pay attention to. Islam is not above satire or even criticism and when these cowards with guns who kill unarmed people we the rest of the free society should not be afraid and put up with self censorship.  That’s how we loose our freedoms and if we do trade security for freedom, then as I’ve said many times in the past the terrorists have won.

Fuck you terrorists, Islam sucks as much as the other religions and there is no god so just chill out.  Be a man and pick on someone who can fight back, using a gun to slaughter unarmed people is not brave, that’s what cowards do.

You never hear anyone killing others in the name of atheism…
