Maggie was sick all weekend so I was keeping Brandon busy all weekend, today we went to Legoland at Vaughn Mills and I have to say I am very disappointed!  I mean we both love Lego but frankly the place sucks and is very expensive considering it’s $22 for an adult and $20 for a 3 – 12 year old.  I’ll post some pictures first before I begin to rip the place apart lol.

The pictures are misleading, while we did have a decent time Brandon and I had to be creative about it.  First Legoland is very small, I guess that shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s part of a mall but seriously it’s small and definitely not worth $22 for an adult or $20 for a child.  There were two lousy rides and a general build area that fills up with kids so fast that if you don’t get out there early then have fun waiting in lines to race your car for 3 seconds.  I wish parents would police their children better too, I always watch to make sure Brandon doesn’t grab some other kid’s stuff but the same cannot be said for others there and saw a few disputes between the kids there (Brandon wasn’t involved) that needed to be mediated.

I get it technical problems happen but the 4D movie (why the hell do companies call things 4D, we’re not moving through time we need to stop it!) was down the entire time we were there and after two attempts to watch (with a fun 20 minute break between sittings) we decided to skip it.

Brandon has fun everywhere but myself I didn’t enjoy it and considering all the other things we could have done, found the value to be very poor so we won’t be going back for a long time.

The rest of the day we hung around the house, Maggie was feeling better in the afternoon and was up and about and now we’re just winding down the weekend.
