Today we had a family lunch to celebrate Maggie’s birthday and it was good.  It’s always nice to see everyone together and lol I love how they shower Brandon with a lot of love, though he was acting a bit like a brat. In any case we all had a good time and Estelle & Imran were able to take our old patio set with them, it served us well and I’m glad I can pass it on to them to enjoy.

In the afternoon Maggie and I took Brandon to the park to play and there he saw his friend Stathi, he’s a SK in Brandon’s class and it was cute to watch them play together.  I always hear about Stathi this and Stathi that from B so it was nice to meet him and his father.  The temperature wasn’t bad but it was pretty windy and after about an hour Maggie wanted to go home so we left.  I was particularly happy, I wore my emergency pack and it didn’t weigh me down (it’s 30 lbs) even when I was playing and chasing the kids.  Haha Maggie was embarrassed, she said it looks odd and it probably does but whatever I’m having fun and not hurting anyone right.  If anything, it’s great exercise for me. 😉

Anyway the rest of the day, Maggie was working on accounting stuff and Brandon and I were playing.  Getting ready for the work week, it’s going to be a short one and I’m so looking forward to the upcoming long weekend!  Haha is it too early to look forward to the next weekend..?
