Today for much of the day we didn’t really do much…  I watched the F1 race and was sad that Mercedes screwed up Lewis Hamilton’s race with a bad strategy call (though it’s hard to be sad for someone who signed a 3 year $155 US million dollar contract) and hopefully it won’t affect his championship chances.  Maggie went to play badminton as usual and after the race, I took Brandon to another park a bit north of our home and he really enjoyed it.

The park was also attached to an elementary school but this one has more grades and more a more advanced playground…

Hehe as you can see it’s a pretty big step up from what he’s use to and to Brandon’s credit he did try everything though some may have required a bit of nudging from my part. 😉  It was pretty darn hot but Brandon had a great time running around and I think it’s a playground we’ll visit again in the future, maybe not as often but definitely another place to go to spice things up.

I was very annoyed to see the sign and while it may take non gun owners a few minutes to notice, I saw the holes in it right away.  My guess is that it was shot with a pellet gun probably by some kids who were just joking around but as someone who shoots real guns and plays airsoft, the lack of respect for the property of others and the blatant safety violations just astounds me.  I played with pellet guns growing up and I would never do something like that…

In the afternoon we lounged around the house and the 3 of us took a nap on the TV room couch…  I typically don’t nap but for some reason I was really tired so I figure why not.  We went for dinner with my mom’s side of the family, two of my cousins from HK came over and it was a family dinner thing, always nice to see them. 🙂

Now I’m just relaxing a bit before going to bed, ugh next week is going to be busy.
