So like all kids, Brandon wanted to see the Minions movie so Maggie and I took him last night to the Stardust drive in.  Before going to the flick though we went out for dinner and lol I like the lazy days where Maggie doesn’t have to cook. 😉  Anyway earlier in the week I arranged with Megan to met her and Frank there so we got to the drive in around 8:50pm and they were already there.  Unfortunately it we couldn’t park right next to each other as it was busy but still it was good to see them.

Hehe because I haven’t used my PVS-14 in about a year’s time I brought it with me for fun and lol I enjoyed looking at the stars more than I did the movie.  Meh it doesn’t matter what I thought about it, Brandon had a good time so mission accomplished.

Today we didn’t do too much, a couple of weeks ago I bought a used H&K P30L 9mm pistol the approval was finally given on Thursday so I got a STAT yesterday so I could pick up the gun. Before I did that though I swung by Laura’s place to pick up some 5.56 ammo, I actually sent the ammo to my house but they shipped it to her place for some reason.  When I got back, we hit up a few local garage sales, Maggie & Brandon like that then we went out for dim sum.

Mmm I love my dim sum, it was good and I ate quite a bit so I’m happy.  As usual we went to Brandon’s swimming class in the afternoon and around 4:30pm, I left to go pick up my mom from a bus terminal at Yonge & Hwy 7.  She went on an Icelandic cruise with some friends and they all went there before going their separate ways, she was happy to be back and it sounded like she had a great trip. 🙂  Maggie went to play badminton in the evening with Jessie so Jason & Logan came over to play and the kids were good.  Nothing much to report there, typical kid stuff then they left and now I’m on the computer with my H&K P30L lol.  Going to the range next weekend with Mario and I’m certainly looking forward to it!
